  • Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner
  • Autonomous Adult Nurse Practitioner
  • Treating patients since 2006

Tina is an integral member of the Orlando Heart and Vascular Institute team, serving as an Adult Nurse Practitioner specializing in Internal Medicine. With an extensive background in nursing spanning 27 years, including 17 years as a nurse practitioner, Tina brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. Her journey began with comprehensive training in Arizona, where she had the unique opportunity to learn homeopathic medicine practices from the Native American Hualapai Tribe’s Medicine Man/Healer.

Throughout her career, Tina has worked in various healthcare settings, including ICU, PCU, Cardiology, and ER departments at area hospitals. Desiring to expand her scope of practice and provide more comprehensive care to patients, Tina pursued advanced education at the University of Central Florida, earning her Master’s Degree in Nursing. She then spent many years as a Hospitalist, addressing the acute needs of hospitalized patients, and further honed her skills in Acute Medicine at an urgent care clinic in the Orlando area. Additionally, Tina has gained experience in Osteopathic Medicine, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, and Veteran Services.

With her extensive experience and dedication to patient care, Tina has earned the designation of Autonomous (Independent) Adult Nurse Practitioner, ready to collaborate with patients on their wellness journey. Outside of her professional pursuits, Tina is passionate about serving others and has volunteered her expertise on medical missions and at local sporting events. She also participates in the Florida Emergency Management Service, prepared to assist Floridians in the event of a major disaster.

In her leisure time, Tina enjoys spending quality moments with her husband Rick and their beloved pets, including dogs and cats. She actively volunteers at a local canine education, training, and rescue organization when she is not tending to her garden or enjoying time with her grandchildren. Tina takes pride in her three children, all of whom are involved in the medical field: David, a surgical first assistant in the operating room; Jean, an RN working in a local hospital; and Sarah, who is nearing completion of her Master’s Degree in Cardiovascular Science and will soon become a Perfusionist following her residency next year.
