Research clearly shows that the best plan of care is developed when your providers are able to quickly and efficiently communicate treatment plans, medications, and adverse reactions. Orlando Heart & Vascular Institute has implemented a fully functional Electronic Medical Record that enables us to better coordinate care, routinely measure quality, reduce medical errors and quickly notify your primary care physician or other specialists how your heart is doing. We strongly recommend that all of our patients have a solid relationship with their primary care physician and encourage open dialogue in maintaining continuity of care.
